1) Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website hosted on Squarespace (the “Site”), our blog, and our e‑learning courses hosted through Thinkific (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

  • Minimum Age: The Services are not intended for children under 13.

  • Account Requirements: Access to courses requires creating an account on Thinkific. You must provide accurate information.

  • Account Security: You are responsible for activities occurring under your account and must notify us of any unauthorized access.

3) Course Enrollment & License

  • License: When you enroll in a course, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license for personal, non‑commercial use.

  • Restrictions: You may not copy, download, distribute, share, or publicly display any course content unless explicitly permitted.

  • Access Duration: The duration of course access will be listed on the course page or at checkout and may vary by offering.

4) Payments, Billing & Refunds

Payments

All payments are processed securely by third‑party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Thinkific’s integrated processors). We do not store payment card numbers.

Pricing

Prices may change at any time but will not affect previously completed purchases.

Refund Policy (Applies to All Courses)

You may request a refund within:

  • 7 days of purchase, AND

  • You must have NOT completed 20% or more of the course content.

Refunds will not be provided after 7 days or after exceeding 20% completion, whichever comes first.

Chargebacks

Unfounded chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery efforts.

5) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate laws or regulations

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services

  • Share login credentials

  • Mine data, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform

  • Upload malware or harmful code

  • Distribute copyrighted content without permission

  • Harass, abuse, defame, or threaten others

Violations may result in suspension or termination.

6) Intellectual Property

All content, including:

  • Text

  • Videos

  • PDFs

  • Logos

  • Images

  • Graphics

  • Course materials

is the intellectual property of EducatedRisk, LLC or its licensors.
No rights are granted to modify, reproduce, or redistribute content except as allowed under these Terms.

7) User Content (Blog Comments, Assignments, Discussions)

If you submit content (e.g., comments, discussion posts, assignments):

  • You retain ownership of your content

  • You grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use it for operating the Services

  • We may remove content that violates laws, privacy, or these Terms

You are responsible for any content you submit.

8) Third‑Party Platforms

Squarespace

Our website hosting provider may collect analytics data and logs.

Thinkific

All course enrollment, activity tracking, and student data are processed through Thinkific.

Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third‑party services or external links.

9) Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes:

By using the Services, you consent to these practices.
